Sale Saddles - Child's Victorian Pilch Saddle

Return to the Saddle listings.

Childs Victorian Pilch Side Saddle, converts from a nearside to an offside saddle!

This is a very nice Child's pilch side saddle, recently imported from England. This saddle is intended for leadline classes for younger children. Note the beautiful stitched, padded seat and flaps.

The top pommel and the leaping head screw into place on either side, allowing your child to ride as a nearside side saddle OR an offside side saddle! Both pommels can be removed to allow the saddle to be ridden as an astride saddle as well!

The saddle has a stirrup, but requires a new stirrup leather (takes a standard child's stirrup leather). The saddle uses a standard English style girth. There is wear to the pommels and a split to the rear of the cantle - cosmetic only.

This saddle could be used by a child in lead line classes, or very easily be used by a small child who is ready to ride indepently!

Very rare reversible child's pilch side saddle.
