Child's Martin & Martin Side Saddle

This is a nice child's side saddle with a Martin & Martin bullseye breakaway assembly! It is so unusual to find a side saddle in a child's size.

The saddle measures 15.5" fron the front of the fixed head and 9.5" wide. It is 7" from D ring to D ring in the gullet. The saddle has an inset doeskin seat and doeskin on the pommels. The panels are linen and in good condition. Billets and overgirth are good.

The saddle has a standard english stirrup leather and peacock safety stirrup that comes with it. (Bullseye fittings are available through The Side Saddlery.) It has D rings to hang your daughter's sandwich case.

Condition issues: The doeskin seat is stained, and one of the D rings for the breast collar is missing.

The owner's daughters are grown and she wants to see other children have a chance to ride side saddle as they grow up. Picture your daughter in a lead line class or riding on her own in shows or at a hunt in this child's side saddle!
